Systems Engineer

Manage high availability / high-performance Windows development, non-production, and production environments in a global enterprise. Member of results-oriented, service-delivery team assisting configuration analysts, release engineers, change management, developers, and operations teams. 

  • Main project while at ICE has been integrating data centers post-merger and acquisition. Evaluate and analyze physical server hardware and number of hosts to determine what can be virtualized.

Windows Services Core Analyst

In an enterprise environment managed A.D. design, implementation, migration and integration with hybrid solution of on premise and Azure AD environments. Exchange 2010/2013 and Exchange online in hybrid environment with two different tenants in the cloud and two exchange environments on premise. Implemented Microsoft's best practice of Tiered administration and silo's. Responsible for conducting and remediating annual MS RAP audits. 

  • Within 3 months built the new WestRock 2012 Domain for newly merged enterprise to support user growth of additional 21,000 users.
  •  Merged two newly acquired companies into existing Esker & Biscom faxing solutions.
  •  Conduct many technical & personality interviews for the Core team as well as the Sys Admin team.
  •  Lead project for implementation of BitLocker 2.0 for enterprise and subsequent upgrade to version 2.5 to leverage stricter password policy and compliance. 
  •  Restructured and hardened the entire RockTenn AD Sites and IP subnets to allow for proper use of SCCM and other 3rdparty tools in the environment.
  •  Served as primary PM for A.D. Server Migration project. Required to schedule / acquire / and maintain resources to meet end of year deadline.

Lead Windows Services System Administrator / WestRock

Managed support of the Enterprise Wintel Server environment of over 2500+ physical & virtual 2003 / 2008 servers. Developed, implemented and monitored service level agreements with staff and internal customers, ensuring compliance and quick resolution of specific issues. While in the Server Administration group lead daily routing of cases and change requests among a team of 10 and provided weekly reporting on statistics. Technical escalation point for team with any Server OS / backup / Active Directory / or mission critical application issues pertaining to the Wintel environment.

  • Team Leader for staff of 10 that managed support for the Enterprise Wintel Server environment.
